This Privacy Policy explains how HashiSafe handles your information when you use our app. We designed HashiSafe to ask for as little data as possible.

1. What we collect

• Meal photos — only when you choose to take or upload a picture for analysis. We do not access your camera roll unless you explicitly select a photo.
• App language — your chosen language setting is saved on your device only, so the app remembers your preference.
• Scan history — a short list of your recent scans is stored only on your device (local storage). It is never uploaded to our servers.
• Device info — non-identifying technical data such as your operating system version may be collected automatically by our app hosting provider for stability and security.

2. How we use photos

When you submit a meal photo, it is sent to an AI service for analysis so HashiSafe can give you a verdict. We do not store the photo on our servers after analysis. We do not use your photos for advertising, profiling, or training.

3. Permissions

HashiSafe may ask for permission to use your camera or photo library. You can deny these permissions and still use the app by typing questions instead. If you change your mind, you can update permissions in your device settings.

4. Donations

Donations are processed by Stripe. We do not ask for or store your name, email, or any account. Stripe handles payment details directly under their own privacy policy.

5. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with the small number of service providers needed to run the app (hosting and AI analysis), and only when necessary.

6. Security

Photos are transmitted securely. We keep server-side logs to a minimum and do not store payment information.

7. Children

HashiSafe is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app changes. The latest version will always be available at this page.
